The ECCK would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new members: Casappa Korea, Economist Intelligence Corporate Network (EICN), Luxury Business Group, and Veolia Korea (*In alphabetical order).
Casappa Korea
In February of 2005 Casappa further strengthened the presence in the Asian market, opening a new commercial subsidiary in South Korea. A strategic decision aimed to empower the distribution network, to support the development of successful partnerships with the most important local manufacturers.

Casappa has unique & interesting systems which shows Italian cultures. One of them is to give pocket money or allowance to the employee’s children who get a high-scored report card in the school.
Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?
We are expecting to get more detail information regarding the ever-changing situation in Europe countries.
Economist Intelligence Corporate Network (EICN)
EICN is the membership-based briefing and networking service from The Economist Group for senior executives seeking insight into economic and business trends across markets and regions. EICN provides members with the information, insight and interaction they need to succeed, while creating a platform for exclusive peer-to-peer dialogue among our members.

We have had a presence in Asia for over 20 years, offering a unique space for business men and women, carefully selected from an array of industries. Our members can attest the high quality of our content and regular events, all produced under the auspices of The Economist’s editorial guidelines.
Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?
We expect to broaden our understanding of European companies’ operations, challenges and opportunities in the South Korean market, as well as to learn from the events and content delivered by ECCK’s directorship. We are looking forward to joining all networking activities that our staff in Seoul (or visitors from our other 8 global networks) can attend.
Luxury Business Group

Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?
By attending various events organized by ECCK, we would like to meet great people in different industries to exchange insights and establish long-lasting relationship. Also, we expect informative and insightful forums to attend which will cover up-to-date social and market trends.
Out of all ECCK’s activities and events, we are excited to participate in networking events, get to know other members, and look forward to opportunities to collaborate on new projects together.
Veolia Korea
Established in 1999, Veolia Korea is supporting the successful ecological transformation of local governments and industrial/commercial customers, and its 1,300 employees are currently working at more than 50 operation sites, providing municipal sewage treatment, industrial water/wastewater, waste management and energy management services.
Veolia Group achieved consolidated revenue of 38.4 billion euros in 2021 with 220,000 employees worldwide.

The Company is focusing on how we speed up ecological transformation, deployment of solutions, net zero ambitions, digitalization and our positioning/ image as an energy company as well as a waste and water company.
Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?
We are looking forward to collecting information on the business as well as economic and regulatory developments in Korea and benefiting from networking opportunities.
Out of all ECCK’s activities and events, we are the most looking forward to CFO forum to start but we will look into details of the other communities and forums as well.
