Thanks to our valued members and partners’ continued support throughout the year, we were able to accomplish another successful year. The ECCK wishes a merry Christmas and a very happy new year to everyone!

The ECCK celebrated its 10th Anniversary on November 18 this year. Once again, thank you all for participating in the ECCK 10th Anniversary Gala and being together with us in this decade long journey!

The ECCK White Paper 2022 presents a total of 96 issues & recommendations to the Korean government intended to improve the business environment in Korea.

The recommendations are developed through extensive consultations with our European members participating in our 18 industry committees.

In 2022, the ECCK launched its first Sustainability Awards with an aim to acknowledge European and Korean companies for their sustainable initiatives.

With H.E. Ban Ki-moon, Chair of Green Growth Institute and former Secretary General of the United Nations, the ECCK awarded 3 winners of the awards this year: BriteBelly, BNCT, IKEA Korea.

With an aim to introduce great initiatives of the 7 CSR partner organizations, the ECCK released a series of interviews, shedding light on societal issues in Korea and those around us that are often overlooked. Watch Interviews here!

This year, with the eased COVID-19 restrictions, the ECCK hosted various in-person networking events, which enabled members to finally meet-up.

Starting the New Year Business Reception in January, various events, such as the All European Network Night 2022, Summer Network Night 2022, Busan Summer Network Night 2022, ECCK & Swiss Embassy Charity Network Night, ECCK 10th Anniversary Gala, and Busan Year-End Party were successfully hosted.

The ECCK held conferences & forums to engage more with member companies and provide insightful information on various fields. 10th IPR Conference was hosted in September followed by the GAII 2022 in November. Forums were also held under various topics (CFO Forum, Tax Forum, Future Development Forum, HR & Compliance Forum).

During the year of 2022, the ECCK contributed to external conferences, forums, etc. in which distinguished individuals from various industries participated to talk about their insights on various business-related issues.

Together with European chambers and business associations, including KGCCI and FKCCI, the ECCK conducted Business Confidence Survey 2021 on the business performance and outlook in Korea with 154 European CEOs.
