63 Art hosts a solo exhibition titled "Max Dalton: Moments in Film 63" by the renowned illustrator Max Dalton until October 29, 2023.
Max Dalton, an illustrator born in Buenos Aires and currently based in New York, expresses himself through vintage-inspired color palettes and meticulously composed artwork that evokes nostalgia, drawing inspiration from his favorite old movies, music, and his collection of vintage books.
Max Dalton is a world-renowned illustrator and graphic artist who shuttles between Buenos Aires, Barcelona, New York, and Paris. His inspiration comes from popular culture, including movies and music.

Particularly notable is his illustration work for the iconic movies directed by Wes Anderson, a filmmaker who has gained a significant fan base in Korea, including "The Grand Budapest Hotel", for which he created illustrations for a collection book.
He has also depicted images from other Wes Anderson films such as "Moonrise Kingdom”, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and "The Darjeeling Limited".

This exhibition consists of three parts. In Part 1 <Moments in Film>, Dalton presents his illustrative reinterpretations of acclaimed films spanning from the 1970s to the 2010s, showcasing his perspective and color palette. It encompasses a variety of genres, including romance, science fiction, and thrillers.

Part 2 <The Wes Anderson Collection> pays homage to Wes Anderson's films through Dalton's artwork. Finally, Part 3 <Moments in Max>, features a series that reflects Dalton's longstanding hobbies and inspirations, including LP album covers, the artist's studio, and picture books. It offers an opportunity to explore the moments that the artist cherishes and has collected over time.
