Founded in 2013, AE Holding is a company in the Import and Export industry as an ever so growing company, with the Headquarter in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and our logistics team in Karlsbad and Sulzbach, serves clients with critical roles in various business area. Following the company’s passionate heart, AE Holding have been doing various business segments here in Germany such as 1) Brand consulting, Beauty and Personal Care, 2) Personal Care Import/Export and Distribution, 3)E-Commerce(B2B and B2C).

Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?

We would need more buyer information and exclusive brand owners (manufacturers) in Europe, so that we could supply to Korea. Also, we expect from the ECCK to share all related regulation/legal news letters in the EU and Korea.

Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?

We expect ECCK to amend suggestions and Korea only regulations to the related authorities. Unfair treatment of the foreign invested company preventing from government contracts and procurement to be corrected as a foreign invested company.

Out of all ECCK activities and events, we are most looking forward to the business outlook and seminars with government speakers from related industry that ECCK provides.

We expect the ECCK to play as an essential role in helping ease various regulations specialized only in Korea such as industrial safety or trade. As a foreign company, we hope the ECCK will provide information that we need to know critical to running a business in the local market and offering networking opportunities. Out of all ECCK activities and events, we are most looking forward to various information or trend updates meeting or webinar it provides.

BAKEPLUS

Founded in 1994 with a mission of “partner for success”, Bakeplus is a major distributor and a supplier of bakery and pastry ingredients in Korea. We are not only specialized in international sourcing but also in local sourcing. We support our clients by providing technical advices and introducing bread and cake recipes from global top chefs. Bakeplus is a subsidiary of Savencia Fromage & Dairy since 2018.

People in our company are passionate about bread, pastry and food in general. We are continuously evolving to introduce good food to our customers. We strive to improve our workplace and Bakeplus received Top Employer certification in 2022.

Q. As a newly joined ECCK member company, what are your expectations for the ECCK?

Bakeplus expects to build a strong network with the ECCK members. We import more than 50% of products from Europe. Some ingredients in Korea are restricted/prohibited to import. Regarding this, Bakeplus would like to get help on easing Korean food regulations through ECCK and have most updated FTA & food regulatory information. Also, we would like to get involved in industry-specific issues.

We expect from the ECCK, regular networking events, frequent advertisement opportunities, updates on information such as current regulations, market intelligence, specific trade issues between European and Korean Counterparts.

Out of all ECCK activities and events, we are most looking forward to the healthcare committee meetings, and meetings related to topics such as digitalization or decarbonization.
